Let's not say "therapy," let's call it what it is - developing Emotional Intelligence. Emotional Intelligence is the key to a positive lifestyle. You are not born with Emotional Intelligence, nor does it come naturally. It is a skill that develops over time. Throughout our life, we are exposed to stress, adverse events and life-changing situations. These experiences add up, accumulate, get filed away in our minds; only to arise at the most inconvenient times, impacting our ability to function with everyday life. Having a strong Emotional Intelligence helps you manage and get your life back on track. What if you had an unbiased person in your life, a therapist, who would help you process through these thoughts? I will help you make sense of them, to gain insight and challenge those negative core beliefs that you hold. I am here to help you build your Emotional Intelligence. Our brains have an amazing ability to heal, develop and change. I am here to help you and your family maximize your Emotional Intelligence. I specialize in Trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Emotional Disturbance and Mood Disorders.

Maghan Eversmith
My name is Maghan and I am glad you are here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation LPC-MHSP. I have been working in the field of mental health for the past 6 years, with prior experience through volunteer work. I specialize in CBT as my 'go to' technique because if you can change your thinking, you can change your emotion, you can change your action. I also enjoy utilizing Art Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and finding what techniques will work best for you, as counseling is not 'one size fits all'. I believe there is a technique and skill that can provide the help and bring about the change you are looking for. I received my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health and my Bachelors in Arts in Psychology at UNC-Greensboro. I have experience in working with ages ranging from 3-90, helping client's with issues such as attention and impulse control, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, relationship issues, managing expectations, developing discipline in daily life, setting life goals, self-esteem and self-image. In my 6 years of counseling, I have worked with individuals, couples and families, I have worked as a therapist within the foster care system in Nashville, TN. Working with children entering foster care and working with their biological family's and foster family's. I believe we are all capable of change, that at times, we need a little bit of help to initiate that change. We all can use a listening ear, and someone who is objective. I want to help you enjoy life, to want change and growth, to build skills to manage what life may throw at you. I want you to feel that you have someone who is walking with you through your struggles/concerns and when you reach the other side of that struggle, know you are stronger.

Michelle Woll
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Oklahoma and Tennessee, and a Reiki Master. I graduated cum-laude from Mississippi College (CACREP accredited) with a Masters in Counseling Psychology in 2003, and I maintain a private practice in Oklahoma. I practice mental/behavioral health and energy healing, and I employ a variety of techniques and approaches, including Energy Psychology and Mindfulness. My skill preference and strength is in utilizing Mind-Body approaches. I previously worked treating predominantly Hispanic clients from children to adults in a medical center, and I have over a decade of experience working with adolescent and adult populations in drug rehabilitation settings, and outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment centers. In more recent years, I have worked primarily with adults and teens experiencing mild to moderate depression and anxiety, and also persons needing help navigating difficult life situations such as divorce/relationship changes, grief, or coping with health issues, such as post-partum, auto-immune disease, and chronic pain. I am a firm believer in alternative methods to healing, holistic approaches to treatment, and living an active and healthy lifestyle as the foundation to good physical, mental, and emotional health. I relocated to Oklahoma shortly thereafter shortly after graduating from my Masters program. I have lived in Mississippi, Tennessee, and a few other states, but was raised primarily on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I grew up immersed in Puerto-Rican culture, and became fluent in Spanish, and I was also raised speaking Portuguese and English at home, and spent summers visiting family in São Paulo, Brazil. I feel that my multi-cultural upbringing helps me in understanding clients from diverse backgrounds. In addition to being a licensed therapist, I'm also a certified Reiki Master, and an avid student of alternative healing methods. I balance my work helping others with raising three beautiful daughters, and caring for a Golden Retriever, a Hound-mix rescue, and two cats. I love learning alternative methods of healing, exploring other cultures, and small-scale gardening. I am also a supporter of clean and healthy living, animal rights, sustainability and preserving the environment. Energy Psychology Energy psychology is a form of treatment that emphasizes the mind-body connection, and focuses on wholeness and total well-being for the client. Several treatment methods may be used, usually involving a form of bio-feedback, relaxation techniques, and the administering of self-treatments stemming from ancient alternative healing therapies. Because energy psychology addresses the root causes of a patient's dis-ease through the body, it is possible to release deep, subconscious issues. Energy psychology is appropriate for all ages, and for most problems, and it is ideal in situations when previous treatments have failed and patients are feeling stuck. It is a gentle, interactive, and efficient way of treating multiple complaints. Research has shown the effectiveness of energy psychology approaches in treating trauma and stress compared to traditional psychotherapies. Cursha Pierce-Lunderman
I am licensed in Georgia and Tennessee with 10 years of professional work experience. I love partnering with people on their journey to greatness. I use a strengths-based approach to help my clients see the choices that are always at their disposal to unlearn past harmful messaging or combat unrelenting present symptoms. As a Black woman, I always integrate the importance of diversity. Playing small to blend in doesn't serve anyone. Whether we're different based on external or internal attributes, we all need to embrace our beautiful and different qualities so that we can live an authentic life. My work also focuses on boundaries, challenging thoughts, and improving communication skills. I integrate role plays, affirmations, accountability, and direct introspection exercises to aid clients in quieting the noise of societal norms to embrace their true joy. All sessions are client-focused, I don't come with my own agenda. I'm excited to help you live life with confidence on your own terms. I look forward to working with you.
