Stephanie Adams
Hello, and welcome to BetterHelp! You are here to find some assistance with something that is going on in your life. I’d like to help you! Let me tell you a little about myself. I earned my master’s in social work at the University of Montana in 2013, where I focused on co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Since then, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of settings. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Tennessee and Alabama. My work as a therapist is guided by the humanist theory that people can heal and grow if they have assistance that is genuine, empathetic, and accepting. I believe that when we accept ourselves exactly as we are, then we can find the strength to change behaviors that are not serving us. I specialize in working with people who have substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflict issues. The approaches I use include dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, attachment theory, and family systems theory. I commend you for taking this step and exploring options for getting some help with whatever you are going through. I would be honored to work with you.

Life can be confusing and frustrating. Counseling can help you to explore and make decisions towards a healthy future. Taking care of one's emotional health is important, you are worth it. I believe a counselor can be a fresh pair of eyes with the expertise to help one find their way through life's events. Due to COVID-19 concerns sessions are now being offered via tele-health video or telephone.

Dr. Weston Crafton
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are ready for something different. They have spent hours analyzing the problem on their own, and they are open to professional help. I have spent over a decade studying and practicing how to create change. I offer therapy that is built upon a conversation that helps - one that is focused on discovering solutions. I don’t believe we have to talk at length about the problem in order to make change happen. Hasn’t the problem taken enough of your time and energy? We will start day one of therapy working towards finding the change you desire. I am trained as a marriage and family therapist, which is a field of therapy that works with one person or multiple people in the therapy room. This means I am qualified to address problems from a larger perspective than just focusing on you alone. Because you are not the problem - the problem is the problem.
