Cindy Cothran
Hello, starting therapy can be tough and I hope to make the first steps easier if possible. It is my belief that therapy can be a place of emotional refuge and I work hard to let each person know that their best interest comes first. I hope that through understanding and gentle humor, we can find connection and work on the challenges that brought you to seek a therapist. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, a loss, life changes, trauma or some other circumstance, I hope to support and help you through the situation. I have been a therapist for more than 15 years and in that time I have honed a flexible set of therapy skills that I adapt to match your personal life goals. No matter which therapeutic approach I am utilizing, my style is always sincere and wholehearted. I believe in the goodness of all people and that we are all worthy of respect. I do lean toward evidenced-based therapeutic approaches and I am trained in a variety of models/ techniques. If I had to describe my therapeutic style in a few words, I would say that I am an attachment-based therapist with an eclectic therapy style as I draw from such approaches as mindfulness, solution based therapy, cognitive behavioral approaches, Hakomi, somatic approaches and EMDR. I look forward to working with you as you take the next step to living the life you want to live!

Pamela Goucher
Hello! My name is Pam Goucher. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in both Arkansas and Tennessee with over 30 years of experience working as a clinical therapist. I have experience in behavioral health and medical social work, so I have an understanding of the impact medical issues can have on someone's life. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma, parenting and relationship issues. I have also worked with individuals who have experienced alcoholism/addictions. I am familiar with the 12-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. I am most comfortable with a Christian approach, but I am accepting of and have worked with various religious beliefs and lifestyles including LGBTQ. I come from a military background as my father was a Vietnam vet and my son has completed 5 tours of duty in Iraq/Afghanistan. I am also a grandparent raising a grandchild. So as you can see, I am a fairly experienced, well- rounded person. I understand that sometimes life just happens and we need help making sense of it all! My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I am open minded and accepting of others. I will not judge you or present as biased. My therapy style is eclectic, as I use whatever your unique and specific needs call for. I do tend to lean more towards cognitive-behavioral therapy though as I believe every situation provokes a thought--a thought a feeling-- which in turn produces an attitude or behavior. I also like to explore your family of origin issues as those early family dynamics do tend to influence who we are today. I always start by reassuring my clients that they aren't crazy or weird...what you're feeling is normal for what you are experiencing right now. Anyone in your shoes would most likely be feeling the same way. It's okay and you're okay! We can figure it out together:) I look forward to working with you!

Jason Fox
Hello! My name is Jason Fox and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation in Tennessee (LPC,MHSP) I have 17 years experience in mental health. I practice primarily cognitive behavioral therapy. I focus on trying to teach people that we need to think and act better first in order to feel better. I have experience working in crisis and crisis supervision. I have worked with clients as young as 5 and as old as in their 80's. I have seen a lot of different things over the years and the most important thing to me as a therapist is to meet clients where they are at and to have a positive working relationship with them to help them get to where they are going. It is often difficult to begin the journey of therapy and I am glad you are considering it. Most people come to therapy hoping to try and fix something in their life that does not seem to be working so well. I will work with you to try and discover what all is going on and how we can work together to help you be the best self you can be. I believe in focusing on building small, easy to learn coping skills and taking consistent baby steps towards your goals. The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.

I am dedicated to helping my clients build bridges to a healthier, happier life. Are you going through a big change? Life calls us into constant change. Whether planned and joyful or unexpected and grief filled: changes in relationships; parenting; or career - they take their toll on each of us. Healing through grieving, stretching, adjusting, and growing can be blocked when you feel overwhelming emotions, when you are fearful and avoidant of what is to come, and when you simply don't know how to move ahead. I listen to, support, and teach my clients to help reduce anxiety, depression, and stress that comes with life transitions. I specialize in helping individuals make changes in the way they work, resolve difficult issues, take action and move forward with their plans. Maybe you feel you have reached a glass ceiling and want to move your personal and professional life forward, yet you don't or can't find the time and space to work ON rather than IN your business. I will work with you to process the changes, to cope when the hard times are upon you, and to learn skills to improve the daily choices that you make I know that the decision to begin therapy. To admit that you're not sure what comes next in your life, to imagine yourself in a better place takes courage, and I consider it an honor to help.
