Hi! My name is Jamie and I've been a counselor for about a decade now. I specialize in toxic and abusive relationships. That could be with parents, a romantic partner, or friendships. I’m trained in quite a few therapies (cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT is one of them) but the most important thing is finding something that works for you. You’re an individual, so counseling will be tailored to what your specific needs are-and maybe you don't know what you want/need right now because you've never been to counseling! That's fine, too! The relationship between counselor and individual is key. It’s so important to have a trusting bond so I will spend time getting to know you, as well as help. I believe everyone has the power to promote change within themselves but sometimes we all need a little guidance. What an awesome step you’ve made. I know it took courage! I offer a non-judgmental atmosphere, because we're all people and we all have pasts. A little about me: I practice yoga and Reiki healing. I like spending my days with my partner and our two boys, reading, and crocheting (very therapeutic!). I also enjoy hiking and traveling. I can't wait to get to know more about you and help you where you are in your journey.

Dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma or grief can be difficult, as overwhelming emotions often make even simple tasks seem insurmountable. Identifying and naming emotions can be a struggle, causing the feeling of being lost and unsure of how to navigate experiences effectively. Conversely, overwhelming feelings can cloud judgment, making simple tasks seem impossible and prompting impulsive reactions when emotions are unregulated. Relationship issues can be incredibly challenging, and can lead to feelings of loneliness and hopelessness. Addiction can lead to feelings of being trapped between the desire for relief and the consequences of choices, making it difficult to break free and reclaim control. Any of these issues can create a heavy burden that affects every aspect of life, making it difficult to find hope and clarity. I’m Jeremy Pugh, a licensed professional counselor in Texas with over 14 years of experience and I have assisted many people dealing with the issues listed above to make progress towards their goals. I specialize in anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, grief, and trauma, providing a safe and compassionate space for you to explore your feelings and experiences. I take an empathetic, open, warm yet direct approach to counseling, believing that every client deserves respect and dignity, regardless of race, gender, age, spirituality, political or sexual identity. My nonjudgmental stance creates an environment where you can freely express yourself and explore your challenges. Recognizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship, I tailor my methods to fit your unique needs, drawing from Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I commend you for taking the courageous step toward change, and I’m here to support you on your journey. Together, we can work toward healing and personal growth, empowering you to reclaim your joy and cultivate healthier relationships. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone—I look forward to the opportunity to work together!

Hi I am a licensed professional counselor and I have been counseling for about five years now. I have a lot of experience with families and young adults and children. I spent the majority of my time when I was in school working with families who were in crisis with children who had behavior issues. I have since gained experience with adults and enjoy this as well. My counseling style is to be attentive and engaged with my clients so that they know that they have my full attention and that I am there to help them with whatever they are going for. I am kind and compassionate and empathetic due to my own experiences that I had growing up with a dysfunctional family. So I really understand what that is like in Real life and from these experiences I am I have gained valuable knowledge that can be helpful to those that I counsel with. I look forward to working with you to achieve our goals in counseling so that you can become whole and healthy and happy in life.

Hi, I’m Carol Mendoza, MA, LPC-S. I am a licensed therapist based in Texas, bringing more than 20 years of dedicated professional counseling experience to my practice. My journey into counseling began during my time in the military, where I spent my over a decade on active duty serving as a counselor. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in various settings, including three psychiatric hospitals, a private practice specializing in psychiatric testing for social security benefits, and in outpatient mental health services (catering to both children and adults). I've also had the honor of working closely with veterans who have bravely served our country overseas and here at home. My therapeutic expertise encompasses anxiety, depression, anger management, mood disorders, motivation, self-esteem, and trauma, and my counseling philosophy is very much aligned with Solution-Focused Therapy. I firmly believe in approaching each individual with the utmost respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Together, we'll tailor our sessions to align with your unique goals and needs. Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with my husband, our two dogs, and our large extended family.
