Dr. Linda Qualia
My name is Linda Qualia and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I commend you for your courage and commitment to self-healing, self-growth, and finding solutions to your concerns and challenges. You are taking an important step. For over 40 years I have had the privilege of partnering with adult clients from diverse backgrounds who bring various concerns and issues to our work. These include individuals undergoing major and minor life transitions, dealing with various levels of trauma, managing grief and loss, coping with chronic illness, addressing family and relationship violence, suffering with anxiety and depression, grappling with spiritual issues, and striving to lead a higher quality of life. Each person perceives their life and their challenges in a unique way. I believe that everyone has distinct abilities and resources, as well as the capacity to develop coping skills that empower them when facing difficult situations. My counseling style is to work collaboratively with compassion, kindness, honesty, and empathy, striving to create a safe space in which to explore concerns and to discover action steps toward resolution. A relationship of honesty, trust and integrity is essential to developing a successful, individualized counseling program; building this relational foundation is one of my primary intentions . My counseling approach is client focused, utilizing skills and interventions that include, but are not limited to, humanistic therapy, strength-based solution focused techniques, cognitive behavioral methods, mindfulness processes, interpersonal neurobiology, and body centered perspectives. My education includes and BA and MA in psychology and a PhD in Counselor Education. I provided leadership in the growth and development of a college counseling center and I have supervised and trained interns for over 20 years. I welcome the opportunity and privilege to join with you in your journey.

Vilma Mosier
I have 16 years experience as a counselor. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UT-Austin, a Masters of Education from Sam Houston State University, and a Masters of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. My work experience includes teaching and counseling in the public schools. I love people and enjoy helping to guide them towards finding inner strength and resilience. As a former teacher, I love to see people learn and figure out how to find solutions to their problems. I am patient, compassionate, and encouraging. I will work to provide my clients with a safe space to explore the challenging issues that are interfering in their lives. I hope to help my clients develop insight and gain the coping skills necessary to navigate and move forward. I am a solution-focused, humanistic counselor who is ideologically existential. I believe that the client and counselor should work together using a theoretical practice that is best suited to the issues presented.

I understand that starting therapy can be daunting, but I am here to listen to my client’s needs without judgement and incorporate your goals to establish a holistic treatment plan to address your individual situation. My counseling style revolves around authenticity and genuine interaction. Treatment begins with mutual respect, compassion, and where you currently are in your life. My approach combines ACT, motivational interviewing, and task-centered therapies. Best of luck in your search for counseling options, and look forward to working with you!

Katherine Anderson
Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor that enjoys helping individuals become their best possible selves. Before becoming an LPC, I worked as a Registered Behavioral Therapist for 8 years working with clients with a variety of challenges including autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. Additional concerns that I currently help with include depression, anxiety, and anger management. While I have worked with individuals of all ages, I enjoy helping children and adolescents. The majority of my work in mental health has been with younger clients and their families assisting them with issues in their home, school, and communities. My approach combines cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and person-centered modalities. I don’t believe that one size fits all and will tailor treatment to meet your unique needs. My counseling style is warm and understanding. I use empathy and active listening skills to create a safe environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. Reaching out for help is a courageous first step and I am ready to support you. I look forward to working with you!
