Dr. Carrie Willey
Hello, Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Carrie L Willey, Ph.D., LPC. I am also a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (retirement status) in New Mexico. I have worked extensively with The Meadows treatment facility in Wickenburg, AZ. During my tenure there, I learned the Post-Induction-Therapy process from Pia Mellody who authored "Facing Codependence". I facilitated the intensive Survivor's Workshop that was designed to assist participants in moving past childhood and adult trauma. I have also worked extensively with Shades of Hope where the specialty is All Addictions and Eating Disorders (from anorexia, bulimia to compulsive overeating). I worked with Tennie McCarthy, founder and author of the book "Shades of Hope". I was the Clinical Director and therapist for Shades of Hope. Culturally diverse populations are also part of my background experience. I worked for Indian Health Services in various tribal locations where I provided assessments and treatment for addictions and other mental health issues. I have worked in the field of counseling/therapy for 34 years and have acquired an eclectic approach to counseling clients. Primarily, I employ the techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I have training in Peter Levines' Somatic Experiencing, as well. I find giving assignments a valuable tool to engage the client in active participation. I draw on the strengths of the individual and focus on what is working for them and help extinguish behavioral patterns that are restricting a person from becoming all they can be. I am an avid bicyclist and average 15-30 miles on my bike per weekend. I have ridden as much as 75 miles in one day. I am not a religious person, but I am very Spiritual and I honor all Spiritual paths. I believe that we are not Humans trying to have a Spiritual experience, rather that we are Spirit Beings trying to be Human. I would very much enjoy the challenge of working with you to help you become the best human that you can be. Namaste

Amaranta Penate-Marty
Hi! I am a bilingual and bicultural psychotherapist that sees this profession more as a calling than a job. I love helping people understand that they can have healthier and happier lives if they invest a little bit of time in understanding their way of thinking and how this impact their emotions and behaviors. I have extensive training in trauma, depression, anxiety and other mood and personality diagnosis as well as grief and substance abuse. Being able to reach both cultures: North American and Hispanic, has also opened my understanding of other relationship problems in couples and families when language and culture are barriers in their interactions. I see every person as individual and I adapt my training to their individual needs. Counseling is not for the sick, but for the ones that believe in change. What you will receive in therapy is unconditional acceptance since that is the main point of my life's philosophy. I look forward to start helping you! Should we start?

Daniel Carney
“Counseling is like a journey, it’s your journey, I am only a guide, still I am willing to take this journey with you and walk beside you while providing the support you need”. On this journey if we discover you have a broken heart, we can find and pick up the pieces so you can be free to love, receive love and trust again. Maybe you've been hurt so bad and feel numb, let’s go searching for that person who once cared, and you can take what you can carry, and we’ll leave the rest behind Hello, my name is Daniel Carney, and I am Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and over the past 25 years I have lead many on a journey of discovering the obstacle/s which are preventing them from living the life they choose to live, plus finding a path which leads to awareness of a true life purpose, and helping each to instill the courage and self-confidence to live the life they choose to live, a life of meaning. My experience with counseling has led to the belief that not only are all unique, but also how each interprets their life experiences. Thus, my approach to counseling is not restricted to a one-size-fits-all perceptive that’s why I have learned to utilize an integrated approach to counseling. This elective approach allows me to draw from a variety of contemporary evidence-based theories/techniques that are proven most effective in addressing each individual concern, while taking into consideration each person’s unique personality characteristics and experiences. Through the means of acceptance, respect, listening, and understanding, I strive in providing a safe and supportive interactive environment; a place where individuals feel safe and free to explore their inner and external worlds. I have experience in helping clients with: Anxiety/Stress Issues, Depressive/Mood Symptoms, Relationship Issues, Trauma, Vocational/Career, Personality Disorders, Bereavement/Grief/Loss, and Spirituality/Religious Issues and work with Couples and ages 12 and beyond. So are you ready to take your journey
