Hello! I am glad you are here. You have come to my page because there is some type of struggle in your life right now. The search for support is a brave step and an important step. I am here to help you navigate this part of your journey by supporting you along the way. Here is a little more information about me: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and I have been in the helping profession in one way or another for more than nine years. My first professional career was as an Elementary teacher and then I moved into Middle School/High School counseling, and as a Social Emotional Counselor for the alternative education program. I currently supervise licensed professionals for the same school district. Through my school-work career, I have had opportunities to work with people of all ages. I have the unique experience of seeing firsthand how a crisis, grief, interpersonal conflict, trauma, and family conflict can impact each person in the family in a different way. When we work together I hope to build a meaningful connection, so that the work you do is specific to your needs and your growth. My approach may vary depending on what you need and what you're hoping to gain. Primarily I focus on a client-centered approach in which unconditional regard to your care is key. I may also utilize tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Reality Therapy, Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy, and Client-Centered therapy. Some of the tools from those approaches help YOU empower YOU! My goal as your professional counselor is to provide a safe and ethical space for you to explore, work through, and grow emotionally. I consider myself laid back, non-judgmental, and a good perspective taker. I hope that I may help you during this time in your life.

I am a professional counselor, certified executive, and health coach. I have nine years of experience helping others overcome challenges and create purposeful, meaningful lives. I have worked with clients with various concerns, including chronic pain, chronic illness, stress, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, family problems, and career challenges. Many individuals I have worked with have had traumatic experiences. As a counselor and coach, one of my greatest strengths includes noticing and appreciating each person's unique characteristics. I do not treat everyone using the same approach because each person's response to stress, motivation to change, decision-making, relationship-building, and thinking styles are unique. As a result, I customize my approach accordingly. I draw from my extensive training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Neuroscience, Motivational Interviewing, Positive (Strengths-based) Psychology, Mind-Body Medicine, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to draw out the best in you. I view the therapeutic environment as a safe place to explore relationships, whether those relationships are with people (family, co-workers, partners) or things (food or money). I also believe an important part of therapy is addressing the social, economic, and cultural influences on a person and that the therapy process should be collaborative, with the client seen as the “expert” on their life. It takes great courage to take the first steps toward change, seek a more fulfilling and happier life, and determine your personal goals. But, if you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you on this journey to create your best life. I look forward to working with you!

Hi There, My name is Jessica Hope Murph and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (but please call me Jess she/her). I am a queer-identifying therapist specializing in trauma treatment for survivors of sexual assault, emotional manipulation, and mental abuse. My practice is entirely virtual, allowing me to provide accessible and affirming care to clients across Texas, ranging in age from 11 to 65. I have a particular passion for working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, and I tailor my approach to meet their unique needs. Grounded in a humanistic, person-centered philosophy, I prioritize creating a therapeutic space that is affirming, inclusive, and rooted in mutual respect. My work is deeply informed by family systems theory, recognizing the profound impact of relational dynamics on an individual’s well-being. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and the Gottman Method, utilizing an eclectic and contemporary approach to best support each client’s individual journey. I am committed to working with both traditional and non-traditional relationships, providing a sex-positive and affirming space that honors diverse sexual expressions and identities. My approach to body and food issues aligns with the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES), helping clients foster a more compassionate and sustainable relationship with their bodies. Above all, I believe that the foundation of any healthy relationship—whether with oneself or others—is respect. My goal is to help clients navigate life’s challenges with resilience, authenticity, and self-compassion while fostering personal growth and meaningful connections.

Maybe you’re hitting up against some loneliness and isolation right now. Or maybe some old burdens are affecting your current life. Lets talk. Your story matters to me. The thing is, I really enjoy helping people cultivate resilience and self- compassion. Depression, Anxiety, Anger that’s hard to control, Addiction issues (Porn, Gambling, Substances) all these are adversities that we humans grapple with. I've been doing this for a minute. I can say for sure that there is no cookie-cutter solution. It's more about connection. My focus is to create the space for someone to know they aren’t alone in this. A gentle, trauma informed journey into mindfulness ensues, and flows towards specific therapy concepts that work best for the individual. We go with what resonates. I enjoy drawing from IFS, Narrative, CBT, and Client Centered therapies to name a few. These paths can be informed by specific Ted Talks/Podcasts to augment the learning part of our work. I love the metaphor of life being a journey, a winding path. Most of us have internal burdens we're carrying along the way. Processing some of those with a neutral and supportive confidant, one who has earned your trust, can be immensely healing. So if you want to share the trail for a while, I'd be honored. Either way, I wish you the best on your journey. " The curious paradox is that when I accept myself, just as I am, then I can change.” - Carl Rogers
