My treatment approach is eclectic, and collaborative in nature; I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches (e.g. Existential, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Belief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Music Therapy, and Trauma Focused therapy) to best assist with identifying the needs of my clients. My goal is to help you process your feelings, build strong relationships and empower you to becoming a better you. At times I might recommend reading a book, providing you a handout, or even have you complete a worksheet to aid you in achieving your goals. I have recognized that by treating individuals mental health, I am doing more than just treating a diagnosis I'm treating a person that brings their own unique struggles, background, needs, values and beliefs. From the moment you start working with me your specific needs such as health, happiness and wellness are a top priority. I look forward with working with you!

Elissa Jeter
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I grew up and went to school in New York. I have been working in in the Mental Health industry in Texas for 6 years. I also provided Mental Health services for 5 years in the US Army. I enjoy working with adults on a variety of issues, including depression/anxiety, trauma, and relationship problems. Since I have provided therapeutic services in multiple settings and to various populations, I am able to bring multiple perspectives to each session. I prefer to view clients holistically and individually. I believe that people need to be viewed as whole person before any single aspect can be worked on. In addition, every person is an individual with a unique set of experiences that have created their worldview- therapy should also be unique and tailored to each individual's needs and experiences. My theoretical approach is best described as eclectic. My core modality is Cognitive- Behavioral, however I feel this approach leaves out essential aspects of the human experience, such as emotional, relational, and spiritual health. Every level of an individual's health needs to be considered before true growth and happiness can be reached. I am excited to get to know you!

Shannon Davis
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I hold a Baccalaureate degree (BA) in Humanities and a Master’s degree (MS) in Counseling. My formal education and professional experience have prepared me to counsel individuals, couples, families and groups My primary theoretical approach is cognitive behavior therapy. This is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. My goal is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind client’s difficulties, and so change the way they feel. I am committed to helping all individuals. I understand asking for help can be challenging and uncomfortable for some. My goal is to create a space where the client can be open, vulnerable, and communicate their feelings without judgment. I work with clients from all backgrounds and cultural settings. I personally invite you to experience finding hope within yourself to navigate through life. I invite clients to my office. It’s warm and welcoming. Our first session is a Consultation. During this session we will discuss why you have chosen to seek counseling as a solution to your needs. The next few sessions will involve an evaluation of your needs. I will be able to offer you some first impressions of what our work will include and a treatment plan to follow, if you decide to continue with therapy. Therapy involves a large commitment of time and resources such as money and mental and emotional energy, so it is important to select the right therapist to work with you and your family.

I truly believe the same could be true for you. So, here is what you can expect from me: --a caring, listening ear --non-judgmental approach --a clear challenge to do the "hard work" --an experienced guiding partner, so you don't have to go it alone I look forward to the opportunity to meet and work with you!
