I have come to counseling a little bit later in life than some; I had already completed a successful career and was looking for something different. I completed graduate school in Texas and have since become licensed in both Texas and Colorado. The majority of my work is in general counseling and I also work with couples and families. I have worked for University of Texas schools as well as for the University of Alabama. While working in the UT system schools I helped with veterans issues and transition. During Covid I provided counseling for military families and have provided counseling with agencies contracted to provide those services.

Additionally, I integrate grief and loss counseling techniques to assist individuals in processing their emotions and finding meaning after experiencing significant losses. As a specialist in compassion fatigue, I am particularly attuned to the unique needs of professionals in demanding fields, including healthcare or caregiving.
