As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, I’ve been helping people for over 20 years find solutions to challenges and issues they are experiencing. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and spiritual issues. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Rational Emotive Therapy; while including an array of other therapeutic modalities to help the individual accomplish their goals. Together we discover underline influences for concerns and collaboratively work towards achieving our mission. In addition to being a therapist, I have been bi-vocational working as a General Manager and CEO of manufacturing companies. This experience helps me relate to my clients in that I've experienced many of the challenges that they have. My counseling is not just theoretical but practical because of my experiences. Dr. Mary Walker
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas and have been in the field for 10+ years. I have never failed to be fascinated with people, with their stories, and with their ability to overcome their circumstances and find the peace they desire. I was an art teacher in high school for many years. That opportunity presented me with experience in learning about the heart of a young person. I worked in several churches as a mentor and learned the need for skills people lacked in order to overcome their past and move forward into a healthy life. As a counselor, I saw the amazing struggles that people are grappling with as they tried to tackle each day. I believe that a counselor can be the helper who will walk along side of a person on their journey to healing. I completed my Masters in counseling at the Houston Graduate School of Theology, then went on to Texas A&M Corpus Christi to complete a Ph.D. I have also extended my studies to include many techniques for working with trauma/PTSD, personality disorders, grief, disassociation, depression, OCD, transition issues, and anxiety. I have been involved with many survivors of childhood abuse, those struggling with life issues in their relationships, their workplace, and in society in general. Fear, anger, and frustration are often crippling to a healthy, productive life. I like to work with people in a person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and in dialectic behavioral therapy. These therapies all offer a gentle and caring approach. They will allow you to be open in a safe environment and the ability to explore what will best work for you, the individual. I consider the people I’ve talked with and walked with in this journey of life to be among the strongest people on earth. They are willing to step out of their problems and seek a better, healthier life. It’s hard work, but it is worth it.

“Why is this happening to me?” “How can I trust myself to make the right decisions?” “Will I always be a people pleaser instead of looking out for myself?” “Why can’t I be happy right now?” Are questions like these consuming your thoughts? Do you often experience feelings of helplessness and hopelessness? Sometimes we need guidance to get past emotional turmoil and back on a path towards contentment in our lives. Therapy can help with navigating through life’s problems by setting and accomplishing goals to help you return to good mental health with personal and/or professional growth. Therapy is an inviting place where every single part of you is welcome, even the parts that are uncomfortable to share. You are encouraged to allow yourself to experience any emotion or thought freely. Hello and welcome! I am from the great state of Texas and have been an accomplished psychotherapist for 30 years. I have a broad range of clinical expertise in assisting individuals, couples and families. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, depression, relationship dynamics, coping with grief and loss, as well as other equally important issues. It is my genuine hope that every client journeys along their therapeutic path with a renewed sense of understanding and self-appreciation. This is truly my life’s calling and it is wonderful to be able to watch people make positive changes in their lives. Throughout the years, I have been able to build rapport quickly with compassion and empathy towards my clients who have ranged in ages from 4 to 104. I have found that utilizing an integrative therapeutic approach is beneficial to meet each individual’s unique needs. This treatment, along with a wealth of life experience, offers a more flexible and inclusive perspective to assist in navigating through unhealthy lifestyle patterns. The first step is the most difficult and here you are! Getting started can be pretty scary — to talk to someone you don't know about things that make you uncomfortable, sad, angry, embarrassed, or even overjoyed — but I would like to reassure you that this process is here to help you grow. If you seek to have a voice in the direction of your therapy and view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership, then I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and begin your healing journey. Tell me your story.

In a culture where seeking therapy is often misunderstood, I emphasize the importance of embracing vulnerability and acknowledging that everyone needs help at some point in their lives. I graduated from Prairie View A&M University with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2009 and my Master's in Counseling in 2011 and have worked in the mental health field for the past 13 years. I specialize in working with a diverse clientele, including children, adults, and couples. My mission is to provide a supportive and and to assist you with getting in control back of your life, we cannot control the things that happen to us, but we can control how we respond and so my goal, as your therapist is to assist you with processing the things that may have happened to you are currently happening to you collaboratively to come up with the solution and work within what you can control .

Noraliz Nagarsheth
My name is Noraliz Nagarsheth, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I am glad you have decided to reach out for help, and I hope that BetterHelp finds the best fit to meet your unique needs. I have been a social worker since 2012. I have worked as an outpatient mental health therapist, social worker case manager, and home health care social worker before venturing into private practice as a telehealth mental health therapist. I specialize in working with individuals with a history of trauma experiencing symptoms of anxiety & depression. My preferred therapy modalities are Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapy. I also received training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and often find it helpful when working with clients. My passion is to help clients find meaning in life and understand life events by searching for awareness and unraveling patterns in their emotions, thoughts, and belief systems, gaining insight into their current selves and what led them to be in the present moment. Once we unraveled the thoughts and identified the limiting beliefs, I like to find and implement strategies and techniques that would challenge those beliefs to promote new behaviors that will empower clients to live fulfilling lives. Although I have my preferences in therapy, I believe that everyone is unique in their way. My goal is to utilize a therapy technique that will best fit your personality and help you accomplish your treatment goals. Let's determine if we are a good fit for each other so we can embark on this journey of self-reflection, empowerment, and behavior modification. If we embark on this journey together, I want you to be confident that if you are going through a tough time of uncertainty in your life, I am here to support you. In addition, I want us to work together to find ways to enhance your life experience and accomplish your goal of feeling better and working on other areas of interest. I aim to create a therapeutic relationship where I will listen and help you process along the journey. I will meet you where you are at all times and when you are ready to work, I will provide you with tips and strategies that we will sort out to figure out which ones will be the most effective for you to implement in your life. It may take a few tries, but I am confident that we will find the one that will help you accomplish your goals and feel empowered. I look forward to working with you.
