Hello, thank you for taking the time to view my profile! I appreciate the opportunity to get to know you! I have a passion for supporting and helping others and I want to let you know I honor your decision to seek help. I know this can be a scary experience but I want you to know that I will support you 100 percent. I believe the strongest people in the world are those brave enough to ask for help when they need it. I received my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2012. The previous 10 years were spent in Law Enforcement. The modalities I use most are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I utilize interventions from all schools of therapy depending on client need. Mindfulness, meditation, emotional freedom techniques, deep breathing and cognitive reframing are some of the tools I use to help my clients. I have a passion for working with people to discover their own personal spiritual path. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief and loss and first responder resiliency. Again, I would like to thank you for reviewing my profile. I look forward to working with you. If you like you can o to my scheduling page and book a session. they are in 30 minute increments.

Alessandra Baird
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist in Utah and have been helping individuals achieve their treatment goals for 11 years. My approach is warm and compassionate, while also being direct and to the point. My favorite modalities are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am also trained in EMDR (trauma therapy) and other modalities. I like to tailor the treatment to the individual and will draw from whatever modality I feel is needed for a particular client. I have worked in different settings, which has given me a wide range of experience with issues such as depression, anxiety, loneliness, stress-related issues, mood disorders, trauma, family conflict, and general guidance and decision-making. One of my strengths is being able to really put myself in someone else's shoes and get a really good sense of how they feel. This helps people feel that I really do understand their struggles and helps them feel supported and that they are not alone. This, combined with my experience and knowledge, has proven to be an asset to individuals that work with me. I do not like to mix religion with research-based treatment and would not be a good match if you are looking for a religion-focused therapist. I consider myself to be open-minded and not judgmental. I am more than willing to answer questions and understand that not every therapist is a good match for all individuals. You will never feel pressure from me if you need to try someone else after interacting with me. I look forward to meeting you and working with you!

Jennifer "Jenny" Nelson
Hello! I'm Jenny, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Since graduating from IU School of Social work in 2011, my focus has mostly been on those with intellectual disabilities and mental health issues. I have worked with several individuals on the Autism spectrum, as well as individuals with Down's Syndrome, ADHD, Bi-polar disorder, GAD, among others. I have worked as a behavior therapist for the past 8 years and am looking to continue to help others through additional platforms. I believe it is important to focus on the individual and determine what works best for each person. I tend to focus more on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as utilizing a strength based approach. Overall, I would say I utilize an individualized eclectic approach. Reaching out for help is an incredible sign of strength and I applaud you for making that first step. If you would like me to assist you on that path, feel free to contact me.
