Alexandra Noel
Welcome! My name is Alexandra Noel, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with certification in substance abuse (CSAC). I have been working in this field for over 12 years, and areas of expertise include military related populations, addiction recovery, coping with stress, adjustment to new life changes, and trauma. Congratulations on taking the first step in bettering your current situation! You will find that the counseling process is not easy. In fact, It is oftentimes difficult talking to a stranger about the sensitive challenges you face. I get it. My counseling style is person-centered and solution focused. In less "clinical" terms, this means I prefer to take on an approach tailored only to YOU that will allow me to provide you with customized tools based on your specific circumstances. Being solution focused, we will use the past as a reference point to identify the roots of your challenges, but we will place more focus on using a strengths based approach to identify resources and solutions to create change. When working with me, you'll gain access to both a teammate and an advocate to guide you along the way to healing. I am no miracle worker; I cannot promise to wave a magic wand in the air and create change overnight. Despite this, I will always collaborate with you to guide, encourage, provide insight, and celebrate even the smallest milestones together. With all of that said, you are in the driver's seat during sessions with me. You provide the starting point, destination, and any identified roadblocks from the past or anticipated future, and I will provide the map and tools to take you to your destination. Our work together will take you on a journey, and I am eager to partner with you along the way!

Dr. Abrina Schnurman-Crook
Hi! Welcome to my profile page. Whatever you are facing, you have exhibited bravery by taking this step. Try out some counselors, like you are shopping for something important - because you ARE. There are many kinds of counselors. I'm the kind who listens and laughs and will challenge you (with your permission). If you aren't prepared for a little challenge to your thinking, you aren't engaged in our counseling process. Paying for someone to say you're right 100% of the time may feel good in the moment, but there is no growth in the comfort zone and no comfort in the growth zone. Here's a little about me: I received a Ph.D. in Counseling in 2001 and am licensed as a professional counselor. I teach also and work with lots of issues and age groups. Helping people develop is my passion. First, you will identify what you think is your core issue and goal. For some, it stems from confidence issues, anxiety, fear of failure, difficulties communicating in personal or professional relationships, or dealing with conflict. I have worked with people on how to get unstuck in lots of ways. Despite my background in Crisis, this platform and my association with it, is not appropriate for emergencies regarding a desire to harm self or others or in cases of psychosis that require formal evaluations in an Emergency Room. It is my ethical and professional responsibility to refer clients to appropriate resources (911) in their locality in these instances. Otherwise, we can get to work. My goal is to assist you as you grow the skills and insight to move forward and see results. There will be work involved, new ways of thinking, new behaviors and maybe, new decisions. When and if you are ready for this, I hope you will reach out. Abrina

Dr. Ratha Zeidan-Lukacs
I am a family and marriage therapist licensed in Florida and Virginia with 14 years of professional work. I have experience in helping clients with trauma, grief-related cases, stress, anxiety, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, depression, and coping with life changes. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I can work with couples, families, individuals, and groups as well as children and adolescents. I am a proponent of strong relationships especially with the Holy Spirit as a faith-based therapist (Christian/Catholic). I’m also passionate about strengthening and empowering families. My theoretical orientation includes existential and humanistic theories. I draw heavily upon solution-focused and cognitive behavioral interventions. I find there are several counseling techniques that benefit, however, the most important in session is the therapeutic relationship with your therapist, which can in turn help to address the here-and-now for the therapeutic work to begin. I believe in treating the whole person and having them recognize their uniqueness, taking a collaborative approach to help reach treatment goals. Each person deserves an individualized framework of therapeutic goals. My approach is to actively help you change towards the desired goal by trying various interventions tailored to you and your unique issues. Breaking free from past wounds sometimes means identifying emotional reoccurring upsets. Taking the first step to seek a more fulfilling and happier life is a challenge, it takes courage and a leap of faith. “We are not the sum of our weaknesses and failures, we are the sum of the Father's love for us and our real capacity to become the image of His Son Jesus.” (St.JPII, 2008)
