Esteban Cabrera
Hello, my name is Esteban Angel Cabrera. I am a licensed mental health counselor with over two decades of experience in a plethora of services that includes academia and community health providers. As a son of a migrant seasonal farm working family, I have experienced many challenges in my life. I longed for a sense of normalcy and stability. I learned long ago that these don't come easy or are handed to you. It can be very difficult to manage everyday life challenges let alone any major traumatic events. I am encouraged by a quote I learned long ago "never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dream be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." I believe in making connection with others through validation, encouragement and guidance. We all have struggles in our lives and I believe that struggles are not failures but it means you are succeeding in "not giving up!" The counseling experience begins with developing a safe and consistent rapport that allows the counselor and client the space to grow into a healthy therapeutic alliance. Therapy can be quite difficult and having a safe environment to talk about and process life's difficulties is so very important. I am excited in working with you to help you experience the great things that life has to offer you.

Eric Herpin
Hi Friend, This is a little about me. First and foremost I am a regular and down-to-earth guy. At times Counseling professionals and other helping professionals can can get reputations to "high and mighty", "up on a pedestal", or 'holier than thou". I am a regular 40 year old man who is balding and slightly overweight. I have made mistakes in my life as I'm sure you have. I do not have a magic wand to make your life better in a hurry. What I do have is an open ear, a caring heart, a good education, and about 15 years in counseling a wide variety of people and issues. Of these the most common issues I have helped others with are overcoming symptoms of depression, anxiety, addiction, and common family issues. As I mentioned earlier there is no magic to what I do but we can work toward goals and talk it out.

Carlton Hemphill
Hello and welcome! My name is Carlton Hemphill, a 33-year-old Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois who is also board certified (NCC). I received my Master’s degree from Roosevelt University in Clinical Psychology-Counseling Practice, with a concentration on child and family dynamics. I have been working in the field since 2015 and practicing as an independent clinician in my own private practice since June 2023. My therapeutic approach is grounded in behavioral and cognitive theories, focusing on how your recent experiences, environment, and thought patterns shape your current emotions and behaviors. Together, we’ll explore how these elements influence your present life, helping you make meaningful changes and move forward with confidence. I also integrate existential perspectives to help you explore your purpose, values, and fulfillment. I provide a warm, supportive environment where we focus on what’s happening in your life right now. Through direct, thought-provoking questions and unbiased feedback, I’ll help you gain clarity and make informed decisions. This process is centered on your insights, growth, and goals, and I’ll respect your pace and direction as we work together.
