Katherine Walton
Hello and Welcome! I have great respect for you for choosing counseling. I think everyone needs support sometimes, and hope our collaboration will be practical and supportive for you. I adjust counseling to your values, style of communicating, and goals for change. I am here to assist you as you make the discoveries or progress you would like to make. I am a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (NCC, 2019); Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC in 2016, LMHCA in 2012) with the State of Washington; and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC , 2022) with the state of Maine. I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Degree (2012), and have over 40 years of experience in human services, including parent education, teaching, and over 13 years of experience in counseling. My aim is to collaborate with clients to create a nurturing therapeutic environment in which inspiration for healing and forward movement can be visualized and actualized. I facilitate clients in discussing stressors and difficulties, envisioning and realizing goals, examining options, developing skills, viewing relationships and family dynamics, paying attention to culture and socialization, as well as understanding the process of change. The assistance and practical tools I provide are informed by my: a) breadth of life and career experience, b) belief that each client is primarily expert at dealing with their unique concerns, c) training and studies incorporating clinical theories and modalities (listed below) d) depth of conviction about how capable and resilient people can be, and e) wish to encourage and celebrate you as you practice new perspectives, actions or changes you want to make in your life. I use humor (whenever possible), warmth, and empathy in striving to be of service in ways that make a positive difference for people. I do not provide medical advice, legal advice, or crisis services. My main areas of experience and focus include but are not limited to: Anxiety/Stress, Coping with Life Changes, Family Conflicts, Parenting, and Relationships. I am also interested in and/or experienced with: Cultural/Spiritual, Grief/Loss, Human Development, Problem Solving/Conflict Resolution and Wholistic Health perspectives/practical tools for transformative growth and change. My clinical approach and focus includes but is not limited to: Client-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Expressive, Family Systems, Gestalt, Lifespan Development, Mindfulness, Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Strength-Based Therapies.

Candace Delis
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Lakeland University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. I work to create a safe, comfortable and accepting environment for my clients. I have previously worked in crisis intervention as well as group therapy settings and like to focus on providing positive support for my clients. I've been told I'm not the "typical" therapist type - I have tattoos and a pretty progressive viewpoint, and I also work really hard to be relatable to my clients. I'm married and have an 18 year old stepson. The rest of my family is made up of 3 rescue dogs, 3 adopted cats, and we recently reached what I call the "livestock level" of quarantine and got chickens and goats. It's a pretty full house. I have worked with adolescents, adults, and couples. I have worked with a wide range of issues, but some of my areas of specialization include: emotional regulation (anger, anxiety), depression, self-esteem building, bipolar disorder, PTSD, grief and loss, assertiveness building, marital issues and relationship building skills. I also have experience with end of life care. My counseling style is interactive, and I believe in treating people as individuals and not labeling them with their mental health issues. You are not your illness, it is only a small part of who you are. I believe in treating people with the same respect, sensitivity, and compassion as I would like to be treated. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, and solution focused counseling. I will do my best to tailor our conversations and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek support and take steps towards making a change. Life can throw us curveballs and unexpected circumstances can arise with even the best of planning. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support you and help you find the tools that will help you succeed. I look forward to working with you! My current hours are (all are CST): Mondays 9am-8pm Tuesdays 8am-8pm Wednesdays 8am-8pm Thursdays 8am-8pm Fridays 8am-7pm Saturdays 8am-4pm Some Sundays upon request

Life can throw unexpected challenges our way, especially in our closest relationships. When problems arise, I'm here to help you explore those moments with compassion and understanding. Through a strengths-based systemic approach to therapy, we'll explore all aspects of your life that might be contributing to the issue at hand, and work towards finding practical solutions that resonate with you. I firmly believe that problems don't exist in isolation. That's why I take a holistic approach, considering how various factors in your life might be influencing the challenges you're facing. In our sessions, you'll find a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can freely express yourself and discover your own strengths and resilience. My passion lies in empowering individuals to become the best version of themselves. I see each person as the expert of their own life, and my role is to walk alongside you on your journey toward growth and self-discovery. Together, we'll build a trusting relationship grounded in respect and empathy, and I'll provide you with the tools you need to move forward with confidence. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Colorado State University before relocating to Texas in 2012 to pursue my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. Over the years, I've gained experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, addressing a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem. I have always loved northern Colorado and missed living there so in 2023, I moved back to Colorado with my husband. I'm excited to embark on this journey with you and to support you in building meaningful, healthy relationships and finding significance in your unique experiences. If you're ready to take the next step towards positive change, I'm here to help.
