The City of Reedsburg was founded in the 1840s by James and Rebecca Babb who brought their family from Ohio. The town temporarily flourished on the hops in the area, building the Reedsburg Brewing Company to make beer. This was just the beginning for Reedsburg, which moved on to wool, felts, and other fabrics soon after. Making a future with what they have is how the town was built.
However, if you are not feeling well emotionally or mentally, nothing seems the same, and you just cannot seem to enjoy anything like you used to. That is when it is a good time to talk to one of the many therapists or counselors in the Reedsburg area who can help with any type of emotional or mental health issue you have.

Angela Heredia
I am a Professional Counselor, licensed in Wisconsin. I have been a licensed therapist for about 2 years, but have over 18 years of experience working in the mental health field in a number of capacities. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and parenting problems to name a few. For the past four years I have been working with children ages 12-18 in a day treatment setting. In this position I worked with children and their families to help them manage things like ADHD, trauma and other behavioral issues. My style as a therapist is warm, genuine, honest, casual and interactive. I believe in meeting clients where they are at, and treating them with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe that as the client, you are the expert on your own life with your own unique strengths to overcome life's challenges. Because of that my approach varies depending on the needs of the client. I have experience using the client centered approach, have been trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I also have had training in DBT and like to use those skills as needed. I enjoy talking with clients to determine what type of approach they feel will be most helpful and meaningful to them. I know that for many of you it has taken immense courage to seek out counseling and to take the first steps towards making a change in your life. I look forward to meeting you, talking with you and helping you through making these changes and reaching your goals however I can.

David Krych
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker living in Madison, Wisconsin. I have worked as a counselor in various capacities over the last 30 years. In the first half of my career I worked with adolescents young men dealing with issues that resulted in struggles with the juvenile justice system and placement outside their homes. After about 10 years working with adolescents I took a break to pursue follow my passion for landscaping and working outdoors. During that time I also had to come to terms with the realization that I was also an alcoholic/addict. Fortunately I was able to enter recovery and learn from others and a very seasoned counselor what a life in recovery requires and provides. At that time I shifted into a second phase in my career that focused on working with those struggling with use/addiction issues and all the factors that lead to them. I am currently working in a program that provides services to those that not only need, but want help. In this work, as well as my earlier work in my career I have worked with clients with a wide, wide range of issues that reflect just how hard it can sometimes be to live this human life. As such, I have come to a place where I have realized how valuable and necessary it is to have a space to be able to talk about and process our efforts toward becoming happier, more peaceful and accepting in our lives. I believe that we are all capable of living lives that have meaning for us and to come to a place of self-acceptance and compassion. I focus on getting to know clients and their goals and experience and finding ways to use the skills, strength and insight to work toward the lives they want. I truly believe that self-acceptance is a key to creating the life that we want/deserve. That being said, I know from my own experience in recovery that self-acceptance and compassion are necessary, but difficult goals to achieve. However, they are necessary precursors to making progress toward our best lives. The harder they are to imagine the more we need them.
