About me

Allow me to first acknowledge the incredible strength and bravery it takes to start a journey to heal. It’s a badge of honor to be a part of this journey with you!

I am a mental health counselor licensed in New York with over 11 years in the mental health field. I have 9 years of experience providing counseling and supportive care management 5 of which were specifically therapy. I have 2 years of leadership/policy development and implementation for various mental health agencies.

My therapy style is warm, interactive, non-judgmental, person-centered, respectful, sensitive, and compassionate. My approach is a combination of cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness approaches. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Thomas is amazing!! He truly makes me feel safe enough to talk about what matters to me in the moment and those things I thought I’d never be able to work through. Thank you Thomas!

He listens, keeps notes, brings stuff up that I've said in the past... He really makes me felt heard and understood, while also getting to know how to best deal with how my brain works.

He's kind, listens, and responds based on my input, not with just generalized responses. He tries to help out with things that I don't think he even needs to help out with and it's greatly appreciated.
