I am a mental health counselor licensed in New York with over 11 years in the mental health field. I have 9 years of experience providing counseling and supportive care management 5 of which were specifically therapy. I have 2 years of leadership/policy development and implementation for various mental health agencies.
I have worked with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illnesses, individuals with concerns including depression, anxiety, and emotional trauma/abuse. I have worked with individuals from all walks of life in various stages of change/motivation from the undomiciled to LGBTQ+ and all those in between.
My therapy style is warm, interactive, non-judgmental, person-centered, respectful, sensitive, and compassionate. My approach is a combination of cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness approaches. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
