About me

Hello! First of all I would like to commend you on taking a positive step towards improving your mental health. Whether you are new or returning to counseling, this is probably the hardest step. I know it is difficult to reach out and ask for help, so I will try to make it as easy as possible.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 12 years of experience. I’ve worked with different populations in my career to include veterans, order adults, young adults and teens, men, women and members of the LGBTQ+ community. No matter your background, I'd like to reassure you that I offer a safe, affirming, non-judgmental space where you will be heard.

Over the years I've worked with clients facing a number of different challenges to include anxiety, depression, history of trauma, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, substance-abuse, relationship issues, stress, overwhelm and burnout to name a few. In therapy, I use best practices (listed in clinical approaches below) which have been proved to be the most effective in managing mental health symptoms.

I look forward to getting to know you and working with you.

Best counselor ever! We have made so much progress that I never would have imagined was possible. She really listens to understand and is very supportive while providing consistent positive feedback. So grateful that we were paired when I signed up for betterhelp!
