About me

I am currently a Child Welfare Program Specialist. I have a Master of Social Work degree and a Master of Rehabilitation Counseling degree. I am also licensed as a clinical social worker. For the past twenty-three years, I have worked with some of the following issues: anxiety, depression, relational issues with couples, abuse issues with children and adults, sleeping disorders, anger management issues, work-life issues, and family conflict.

Through my many years of training, I utilized cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed therapy, client-centered therapy, mindfulness, and meditation techniques.. I believe in empowering clients to implement coping mechanisms to manage and/or overcome their issues. Life brings us hurdles at times and we must develop tools to go through them. The biggest step is acknowledging you need help or support. Then, you work through it to develop tools to manage your issues.

I look forward to working with you!

Best Regards,
Tondala

She is professional, kind, positive and contagious attitude towards life. I look forward to each session with her. She listens intuitively and intently. She reassures you when you're on the right path and suggests different ways of solving problems in an encouraging manner. She is someone who I can confidently confide in and would enjoy having as an on-going Therapist.

She's absolutely the sweetest!! Even though our time was short, she never failed to make me feel welcomed to speak my thoughts. I can tell she's a warm, thoughtful, and considerate person, and I appreciate how focused she was as she listened to me tell my stories. At the end of the day, I just needed a person to listen to me and help comfort, and she was always there for me!
