Tonesha Bivins, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with well- rounded experience in various counseling, and crisis- intervention settings. I offer individual, couple, child, and family counseling. I can provide support, problem-solving skills, and enhanced coping strategies for issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship troubles, unresolved childhood issues, grief, and stress management. As a counselor I have a client-centered approach in which I tailor each session to my clients’ specific needs. I focus on my client as whole, and understand that we are multifaceted. This allows me to evaluate the social, emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of my client to ensure that I am providing the highest quality of care. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to include cognitive-behavioral, reality, trauma-informed, solution-focused, and mindfulness. As an empathetic, and compassionate counselor I work with each client to build their strengths, and attain their personal growth.
