Travis Murrah, LCSW
About me
I am a licensed therapist with 7 years clinical experience in the mental health field. During this time I've worked to help people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and addiction. I also have experience in providing couples counseling to couples looking to learn new communication skills and reignite that spark. I like to take a client-centered approach and work together with clients to identify effective coping skills, prioritize treatment goals, adopt healthier thought patterns, and build on existing strengths. I use various assessment tools, cognitive behavioral therapies, motivational interviewing, and other trauma (and healing from trauma), attachment, and regulation modalities.
Thank you and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you soon!

Travis Is an absolute amazing therapist, he listens to me and acknowledges my concerns. I am excited every week to schedule with him as I feel like I've been heard and he listens to me. I've tried several therapists in the past and by far Travis is the best I've had yet and hope to continue with him.

I love Travis as my therapist. I always enjoy our sessions together and the different ways he helps me cope with my life. He's made me see myself in a different light and brought to my attention issues that I didn't know I had.

Travis Murrah has been great at listening to my problems and giving me feedback. He also has introduced me new ways to understand where problems come from and looking at things in a different perspective. He is kind and understanding when it comes to individual feelings and see both sides of the problem. I would highly recommend Travis to anyone needing a counselor. I still have a long way to go but I trust that Travis will help me overcome any current and futures issues.
