Tricia Giambelluca, LMHC
About me
Counseling can be scary, we often fear what we don’t know and understand, we fight against vulnerability, and working toward change of any kind is difficult. A lot of the things that we want to avoid are inevitable and it helps to have someone who can help you sort through all of things life throws at us. Counseling is collaborative and should be a partnership, one driven by you, the client ,in an open, safe, judgement-free environment.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York with 20 years of professional experience working with individuals, ages four and older, providing individual, group, couples and family counseling. I’m trained as a co-occurring clinician and can work with individuals with both mental health and substance use disorders. I am trained in trauma work, with a specialization in childhood trauma and specialize in co-occurring disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma related disorders, child therapy, behavioral disorders and autism spectrum disorders, with a background in disorders of sexual development and sexuality issues.
