About me

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Associate at Dr. Stephanie's Relationship Repair Shop, I work with individuals, couples, and families struggling with personal and relationship issues. I am supportive, encouraging and compassionate and I try to create a safe and comfortable environment where we can work together to identify the issues and reasonable solutions.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from University of Maryland University College and a Master of Science Degree in Marriage & Family Counseling Therapy from Capella University. I am also certified in the Prepare-Enrich Pre-Marital Assessment, which is the leading couple and marriage inventory nationally and internationally. This assessment is a thorough tool that helps couples explore and strengthen their relationships.

Some of my areas of special interest is helping couples in premarital counseling, couple and marriage related issues, infidelity, and gay and lesbian relationships. I also help those and have experience with those struggling with depression or anxiety, families coping with divorce, infidelity, domestic abuse, and individuals with self-esteem issues. To address many of these issues I utilize the Solution-Focused Therapy Model, Gottman Therapy Method, Prepare-Enrich, and Trauma Focused Therapy.
