Veronica Alexander, LCSW
About me
The central focus of my practice with adults, youth, and couples is the treatment of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, communication and social skills, distorted thought patterns, and maladaptive personality styles. For clients struggling to identify the root of the problem, therapeutic intervention to explore life purpose, self-love, attachment, and motivation can serve as an inspiring catalyst for change. Using a pragmatic and evidence based approach, we will work together to identify effective coping skills that will ultimately put you in charge of your mental health.
Many of our mental health challenges arise from lack of self awareness or cognitive patterns that hinder us from effectively addressing problems. I provide insight driven psychodynamic therapy through open-minded exploration and reflective, nonjudgmental understanding. Together we will identify contributing factors and patterns of behavior that may be below conscious awareness and driving problematic behavior. We will do solution driven work to outline actionable steps toward client-directed goals.
It can be difficult to break out of our routines and comfort zones, but we must accept that any path to growth will require some discomfort. Self improvement is not an easy journey to undertake but with guidance and perseverance, together we can accomplish the hard work needed to realize your dreams.

Veronica’s expertise has helped me to better understand my relationships and the dynamics within them that I’ve created allowing me to the opportunity to build them up. She’s always respectful, considerate and done so in a way where it’s relatable to MY way of thinking so I can better understand. I don’t know where I’d be without her.

I started sessions with her in October 2021, and she has tremendously helped me. She provides unbiased professional perspectives and she understands/relates to my thinking processes. She never judges and I would recommend her but then that would result in less time for me

She’s awesome. I’ve been in therapy for a while but with her I feel heard and understood. She offers great advice and perspective, and she doesn’t know it but we’re the best of friends lol

Veronica and I hit it off in conversation No. 1. She offers a healthy support system that is building off of previous work done. She is extraordinarily competent in the field and offers information to support her recommendations (per my request).
I have experienced exponential growth in the five months we have been meeting.
Her accessibility makes the relationship stronger.
