Vickie Neapolitan, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience in providing psychotherapy in both community mental health centers and private practice. I have worked with clients dealing with a wide range of issues including depression and mood disorders, anxiety, low self-esteem, LGBTQ issues, and trauma.
My practice style is empathetic and engaging, focusing on starting where the client is emotionally and helping her/him/them find a path to peace, acceptance, and fulfillment. My practice approach combines cognitive behavioral, client-focused, and solution-focused therapies, as well as motivational interviewing. Each client has individual needs, and I will tailor my approach to suit yours.
Entering therapy is a step towards a more fulfilling life that takes great courage. Change is a scary thing sometimes, but is often necessary to find true happiness. Together we can identify the ways that change can benefit you and work towards making it both lasting and rewarding.
I look forward to working with you!

I have worked with Vickie for three years and she has truly impacted my life in such an amazing way! Her support, helpful curiosity, and authentic energy are such incredible traits that make therapy with her both comforting and growing. In the past, I often popped in and out of therapy with clinicians quickly but sticking with Vickie has lead to so much self-discovery, self-compassion, and growth toward my most meaningful life. I’m so grateful for her!

I worked with Vickie during a time when I felt really ungrounded with anxiety and troubled by past traumas and inner child wounds. After working with Vickie for around 9 months I feel far better equiped to prioritize my mental health and to work on my anxiety as it arises. I would definitely recommend working with her, thank you for your support, Vickie!
