Vida Phoenix, LPC
About me
Counseling is a self-exploratory journey toward inner peace. It is an opportunity to grow emotionally. Emotional growth and maturity is a life work. What is emotional maturity? It includes the ability to be honest, open, genuine, transparent, and loving. It means you don't change you, to be a version of you, that you think someone else wants you to be. You display the ability to be kind to others, but you will set boundaries so you are not compromised. You live in your heart and experience and not in your small mind. We all face challenging times and need an enlightened witness to guide us through.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling. I incorporate many therapeutic modalities, these include:
• Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
• Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
• My approach is from an Existential and Transpersonal perspective
I am compassionate, empathic, and intuitive. Those are tools I will use to connect with you. I will guide you through this unique but powerful therapeutic process that is BetterHelp. Thank you for taking this opportunity for your emotional growth. I’m glad that you are here.

Vida is the type of person who'll make you feel calm instantly. She was able to get the gist of who I am, my trauma and my challenges from the start. Vida's wisdom is like listening to a poetry! Soak it in and listen to those wise words, they'll support you. I feel heard and guided from having the sessions. Thank you Vida for your time, patience and openness.

Vida is highly empathic, professional, constructive, communicative and detail oriented. She challenges me and is not afraid to confront me on my negative thoughts or behaviors, and does so in a manner that in gentle, firm, constructive and compassionate. 10/10 would recommend her to others in the future, should anyone ask me for advice on seeking a counselor.
