Vilma Mosier, LPC
About me
I have 16 years experience as a counselor. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UT-Austin, a Masters of Education from Sam Houston State University, and a Masters of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. My work experience includes teaching and counseling in the public schools. I love people and enjoy helping to guide them towards finding inner strength and resilience. As a former teacher, I love to see people learn and figure out how to find solutions to their problems. I am patient, compassionate, and encouraging. I will work to provide my clients with a safe space to explore the challenging issues that are interfering in their lives. I hope to help my clients develop insight and gain the coping skills necessary to navigate and move forward.
I am a solution-focused, humanistic counselor who is ideologically existential. I believe that the client and counselor should work together using a theoretical practice that is best suited to the issues presented.
