It is so nice to receive support from a professional of color. She understands me and can apply her expertise to assist me and provide culturally competent advice. Walanda lets me talk through a variety of issues and topics that I struggle with. She asks important questions to let me check in with myself. This is allowing me to tune in and find my center, allowing me to ask and answer those questions honestly. She has helped me remove unhealthy patterns of thinking, and unhealthy ways of handling situations. She helps me get to the bottom of unhealthy and confusing situations. I truly appreciate our sessions together.
