Wanda Jensen, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Montana with 4 years of professional work experience, I will strive to treat the therapeutic relationship, and you with empathy, understanding, and respect.
I'm from a very small town in Montana, family and community friends are important to our way of life and our wellness, and it is these natural connections that support us as we navigate the difficulties of life. I support individuals to work through their relationship challenges, and to strengthen and foster growth in their relationships that will support them as their navigate life's challenges.
I rely heavily on the lens of the Systems Theory, to look holistically at individuals, and to gain a better understanding of their current challenges that are influenced by a variety of factors, family, friends, social settings, economic class, and home environment.
I also have a degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, which provides a systematic understanding of what is driving behaviors/habits, and how to replace these with healthy and productive skills that will foster goal achievement, and help individuals reach their full potential.
I m a General EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Practitioner, which is a therapy practice that helps individuals heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences. EMDR helps individuals process the negative images, emotions, beliefs, and body sensations associated with traumatic memories that seem to be stuck.
I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, parenting issues, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I believe that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming your challenges.

After years of therapy and feeling like I hit a wall, I am very pleased to say that within just a few sessions I am thinking about things differently and all of the progress I have made in the past is still in progress, I don't feel like I am doomed to be " stuck" any longer. I deeply enjoy the new perspectives and the homework definitely hits home. I highly recommend Wanda Jensen! I am grateful to be getting "unstuck"

Wanda is a very good listener. From our first session, she held an open space and let me share, with full feeling, my concerns and fears about a situation I’m currently dealing with. She has, through thought provoking questions and prompts, essentially let me walk through therapy at my own pace and come to some conclusions and found answers I likely would not have come to on my own. She’s very compassionate and understanding. I’m just two sessions so far she has helped me expand my view on my own life and helped me find tools to grow personally so I can find more joy in life and relationships.
