Review for Wayne
Wayne has been an incredible support in my journey. Although he is not a Black man and cannot fully understand the nuances of my race-based experiences, he approaches every conversation with honesty, realism, and empathy. His feedback is always grounded in a deep desire to help, and I trust him completely to provide the best guidance possible.
Wayne doesn’t shy away from the tough realities of my situation, yet he also doesn’t pretend to know what he cannot. Instead, he creates a safe space where I can share my feelings and experiences openly, without judgment. What stands out most is his willingness to listen, learn, and grow alongside me, which is not always easy in race-related discussions.
I appreciate that Wayne doesn’t let his lack of personal experience with my specific challenges stop him from being effective. He offers practical and realistic feedback that I’ve found deeply helpful. His sincerity, honesty, and authenticity make him an exceptional counselor. For these reasons, I give Wayne the highest marks, not just for his professionalism, but for his humanity.
