Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Wendy Gatewood. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Wendy is truly a thoughtful and kind therapist. She checks in on me often and responds to me in a very timely manner. She listens and she helps me see things in a different light. It’s nice to have an independent person shed light on issues and help give you another’s perspective without judgement. I urge you to consider this type of therapy-especially if you’re very busy!!

As this is my first time in therapy I wasn’t sure what to expect. Dr. Wendy Gatewood has been great in reception and understanding, especially as I’m still unsure of what to expect.

As a first-time therapy seeker, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but working with Wendy has been truly wonderful. From the very first session, she created a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive environment that made me feel comfortable opening up about what’s been on my mind.

Wendy has an incredible ability to listen deeply and offer thoughtful insights without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. She tailors her approach to my specific needs, and her guidance has helped me gain clarity and build better habits.

I especially appreciate how patient and encouraging she’s been as I start my mental health journey. Wendy’s empathy and professionalism have been key in helping me navigate our initial sessions, and I always leave our sessions feeling more grounded and hopeful.

For anyone new to therapy—or even hesitant about starting—I can’t recommend Wendy enough. She’s not just an exceptional therapist; she’s someone who genuinely cares about her clients’ growth and well-being.
