About me

Hi, my name is Wilbur and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have 3 years of experience working as a therapist and have worked with clients ranging from teens to late adulthood, concerning depression, anxiety, parenting stressors, relationship issues, family problems, career challenges/burnout, chronic pain/chronic illness, grief counseling, and transitioning life stages, as well abuse and trauma (sexual, verbal, physical, emotional).

My therapy style is eclectic and my approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy tailored to understand the individual and working with them to meet unique and specific needs. I believe everyone deserves to be given a non-judgmental space where they are free to be their best and worst selves so they can discover how or who they want to be moving forward. I believe in the simultaneous drawback of labels: how they can help create new identity and completion as well as stigmatize and limit. Working together will necessitate a greater sense of self-awareness.

Whether you are seeking change for a healthier happier life, or just need a non judgmental ear to listen, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

He listens and tries to break things down and put things in perspective for me . He guides me to reflection and help me start to place boundaries and figure out what boundaries look like to me.

Wilbur has been such a great help. With the past few sessions we have had, he has been able to get me to see things from a new perspective and to really help me get out of my head when I need to.

Wilbur is the most kindest therapist I’ve ever had. I have not had therapy before meeting Wilbur, and I’m so glad to have got a great therapist experience the first time around. Wilbur is kind, patient, knowledgeable.
