I knew I was ready for change and growth when I started therapy. I knew some things would be hard and some things I may not want to do. Yvette meets me where I am and is always empathetic, but gentle when trying to get me to change my habits. I have had multiple “ah ha” moments since beginning therapy. I’m so happy I decided to try it. Grateful to have Yvette in my corner to cheer me on when needed, but also to hold up the mirror when needed.

I have had other therapist where I felt like they were joust doing their job. Which isn’t really a knock on them because they’re doing it well, but they lack that personal aspect that you should feel with your therapist.
Yevette seems to ask more personal questions to get to the root cause of whatever said issue is. She is genuine and doesn’t placate to false thoughts or emotions but instead comes up with other angles to view these thoughts or emotions to help see things more positively.
Honestly, she’s amazing.

Yvette is a very knowledgeable source of help. She is tasked with helping total strangers who pop out of nowhere with confusing, overwhelming requests, and is able to back us out and help us focus on one thing at a time. She brings respectful candor, helping her be relatable and human. She helps you see where you are succeeding on your own and challenges you potentially difficult questions to consider. She doesn’t force you to answer or act and i genuinely think she could help almost anyone if they give her a chance. Therapy isn’t spoon fed, it’s guided. Yvette is a great, friendly guide. Really great counselor. I feel like Yvette doesn't let me lie to myself and offers ideas and perspectives I've never considered which help me to better understand and deal with things. She's friendly and encouraging, and from the get-go she made me feel as comfortable as possible during our interactions - which I'm grateful for as I was very anxious about how it might be awkward and I wouldn't feel like I'm getting any help at all. Fortunately it's the opposite!

I think Yvette is an excellent counselor. I’m not in a good spot right now personally, lots of relationship and family stuff, but she’s really helping me get a grip on my life and take control. I wouldn’t be able to take the steps forward that I have without her help.

In the short amount of time, Yvette has given me great insight through her support, as well as her resources. I will say that through her expertise, I was able to successfully navigate through struggling with childhood traumas, ptsd, panic attacks, and general feelings of confusion and guilt.
I highly recommend her as an excellent and caring counsellor.

She's amazing. Yvette understands the individual she is working with and adapts to their way of opening up and talking about their situation at least that has been my experience thus far.

Yvette is doing an incredible job of helping me better understand my personal feelings and navigate the emotional damage done by loving an addict. She has helped me realize I was not a cause of his addiction but I was a casualty of his battle with addiction.

Yvette is clearly an expert in her field. She's kind, empathetic, and practical, and has been more than willing to work with me at my own pace, using the techniques that are most comfortable for me. She is warm and easy to talk to, and has checked in on me to offer advice and encouragement through messaging between our phone sessions. I feel much better and much more in control of my anxiety since I started working with Yvette.

Even during the first session I saw that Yvette cares about helping me, listening, letting me be heard, and is willing to be direct and honest and say what I didn't even realize I needed to hear. Every session so far with Yvette has "a-ha!" moments that give me new insight and direction, and she supports me throughout each week in addressing what I'm experiencing and working on the very realistic goals we set together for me. Would recommend her to anyone who would benefit from being cared for, understood, guided, and learning about themselves and the challenges they're facing.
