Zakiya is a compassionate therapist and and excellent listener. She is easy to talk to and engages me to think from different perspectives. I have worked as a school counselor for over 10 years and an educator for 19 years. I received a bachelor's in social work and a master's in counseling from Prairie View A&M University. I am a licensed professional counselor for the state of Texas. My treatment approach is more of cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused. I have a passion of helping other and being of service to others.

She is an awesome therapist. I feel like she actually listens to me and makes me feel safe to talk to her. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a therapist. Which in reality everyone would benefit from a therapist. However, she is an amazing therapist and anyone would be lucky to have her.
