Laurie Pittman
Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the stated of Louisiana. I have over 11 years of counseling experience, working with adults, children and families struggling with challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, life transitions and trauma. I work from a strength-based approach, pulling from theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This integrative approach allows the ability to tailor counseling to meet individual needs. I enjoy helping others explore personal strengths and possibilities, elements that can be important parts of healing, growth and change. Prior to becoming a counselor, I was an educator, with over 10 years of classroom experience. I believe that the counseling process is a collaborative one, and that building rapport is very important. Let's work together to create goals, and move toward meeting these goals. I work from a place of warmth, respect and encouragement. We all face challenges from time to time. Reaching out for support can be the first step in identifying thoughts and behaviors that are not working for us, and can prompt us to explore new paths toward growth. I welcome working with you on your journey.

Hi and welcome! I believe that finding the right fit for your counselor is an important step in this journey of feeling better, and I'm grateful you've decided to take the time and read mine. I have been a social worker for eight years and a life coach and counselor for a decade working with a variety of people including individuals, groups, and children. Currently, I run a small private practice and mental coaching business for athletes looking to access their competitive potential. I would say my experience has been quite varied. I've practiced in substance use facilities, 6-12 grade in public schools, community field work, with young adults, and I also work in the world of collegiate athletics. I feel my best as a therapist when I can work with my clients to develop goals and clear pathways to success however that may look. I also crossover into other aspects of practice that include LGBTQ+ populations, multicultural issues, and trauma. I appreciate therapeutic styles and approaches that consider multicultural considerations and that value diversity. I practice cultural humility when engaging in work with individuals who have cultural considerations especially those I can learn from myself. I’m thrilled you’re here looking for relief and I hope I can be a part of your team to support you. *Please note that I am currently only accepting new members who are looking to message or chat for live scheduled sessions* Let’s get at it!

Noelle Mejia
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and case manager. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar, personality disorders, substance use disorders/addictions, relationship issues, OCD, and ADHD. I also have a great deal of experience working with trauma and abuse. My therapy style is warm and focuses on establishing rapport and trust first. I believe in treating everyone with dignity, respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don't believe in focusing on stigmatizing labels. Diagnosis is helpful to understand the symptoms and etiology. My approach is strength based and empowering. I use therapy styles such as cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic and mindfulness therapy. As a social worker I take strong consideration in a systems perspective. I believe its important to understand the whole person and all of the macro and micro systems that have affected the individual. Treatment will be tailored to meet your unique and individual needs. It takes a lot of courage and willingness to take that first step in seeking help which can have a dramatic and life long positive affect. If you are ready to move forward in this journey, I am here to guide you. I look forward to working with you!

The only person that can instigate change, is you. I have experience working with adolescents, adults and active duty service members, veterans and their families. I use a style that allows the client to determine the direction of their session, incorporating aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy and rational emotive behavior therapy to produce change.
