Christina DeSantis
Hello, my name is Christina DeSantis. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Simmons College. I have been in the Human Services field for over 15 years. I’ve worked as a therapist in various capacities for over 10 years. I have worked with individuals of all ages. The areas in which I have the most exposure are with people dealing with addictions, trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, people dealing with life changes, and people who are struggling with emotional distress due to medical conditions. I do not subscribe to one treatment modality in particular. I think it is important to customize treatment based on the person’s individualized needs. I do have experience in using Cognitive -Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. As a therapist, I consider my most important values to be the ability to be open-minded, empathetic and non-judgmental. I believe the thing that sets me apart from other therapists is my ability to be real and authentic but being compassionate at the same time. I strongly believe in honesty within a therapeutic relationship. I commit myself to being honest to the people I work with. In return, I hope to provide a safe space for people to be comfortable and candid. I understand that therapy can be hard work, and taking the steps towards working on you can be scary. My hope is to be a guide in this experience and to offer support as you tackle some of life’s biggest challenges. I look forward to walking through this important journey with you.

I am a Licensed Mental Heath Counselor in Massachusetts with over 15 years experience in the field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of issues, both in the community as well as inpatient . I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety disorders, anger management issues and family problems. I have also worked with clients with histories of trauma. The style of counseling I prefer to utilize is really based on the person and the situation. I really don't believe in the one size fits all approach to counseling. I believe in treating everyone with empathy and respect and always giving my best efforts to help others find their way to their desired outcomes. some of the approaches that I use include cognitive behavioral, person centered, mindfulness and when needed reality therapy. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, if it sounds like a good fit I look forward to working with you, if not I wish you the very best in you search.

Anita Preble
I am a licensed mental health clinician in the state of Massachusetts with over 28 years of experience with children and families. I am well-versed in parenting issues, blended families, and divorce/co-parenting. My husband and I have been foster parents and adopted our youngest son through the system. My approach to therapy is about problem-solving. It's important to know where your feelings come from, but it's more important to know how to cope and what to do going forward. I hope I can be of help to you as you navigate the challenges of your life.

Reaching out for support is an act of courage, and I honor you for taking the first step toward lasting change! You're here because you're going through something, and whatever that is, I'm here to help. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Louisiana and Massachusetts (in MA my license is "LICSW") with ten years of experience working as a psychotherapist for children, adolescents, and adults. I have helped clients and families through issues including anxiety and depression, parenting challenging children, career difficulties, issues related to sexuality and gender identity, ADHD, life stress, work-life balance, relationship issues, and more. As someone who has struggled with both anxiety and depression at various points in my life, I come at the therapeutic process with both personal and professional knowledge, and always keep in mind those things that were most helpful to me when I was the one seeking a therapist. My style as a therapist reflects my belief that the relationship you and I forge is the foundation from which change becomes possible. Working through the things which hold us back can mean facing difficult feelings and memories, and it's important to have the right partner on that journey. I aim to be a supportive and encouraging partner in change, as well as getting to know you well so that I can provide interventions that make sense for you rather than a one size fits all approach. I believe in helping you build a toolbox of concrete tools and skills that you can draw from moving forward—in helping you equip yourself to meet not only the challenges you’re facing now, but also leaving you better prepared to manage future challenges as they come. I'm here to support you as we explore ways to help you meet your goals and live your best life!
