Faith Lang
Hi. My name is Faith Lang and I'm here to help! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I 've had the opportunity to work with people of various ages, backgrounds and ethnicities to enhance all aspects of their life. As a result, I've found that many people achieve great comfort by evaluating past beliefs and finding a new perspective regarding the meaning of life. My specialty in addiction has shown me that all people can change and that behavioral change can lead to enhanced self esteem and the ability to move forward in life. A prior Masters in Special Education and teaching experience provided an understanding of the uniqueness of each individual and created a close rapport with children and adolescents. With this combined knowledge I've been fortunate to see great success with so many clients. As supervisor of a chemical dependency program, I had the opportunity to create programs assisting both addicts and their families . I've also taught upcoming counselors in a county chemical dependency program and trained interns. In private practice, I've counseled individuals and families to acquire emotional support and achieve greater understanding of themselves through the use of many techniques, including hypnotherapy. The result of being raised in a society where we are encouraged to believe that more is better often leads to impulsive and compulsive behaviors, resulting in anxiety and depression. However, it's possible to look at life through a new lens. I hope to help you do it!

Carrie Petruso
Hello! I'm a mental health counselor with 13 years of experience treating anxiety, depression, and trauma, and providing support to people going through life transitions. I have a MA in Clinical Counseling from the Ohio State University. In July 2022, I moved with my family to Greenville, South Carolina for the adventure and sunshine after 15 years of living in the Finger Lakes, NY region. All of my sessions are virtual at this time. In terms of specialty areas, I have personal and professional experience with challenges related to pregnancy, miscarriage, and parenting. I identify as religious/spiritual (raised Catholic) and am able to incorporate these topics into our work together as desired. I have counseled over 30 clients identifying as non-binary, gender fluid or transgender through through my brick and mortar private practice, and have written dozens of HRT and surgery letters over the past 9 years. I am trained in CBT/DBT, but also incorporate Gestalt, psychodynamic, and acceptance based therapy techniques. For some, the past few years of the pandemic have been quite terrible. For others, they have been a time of tremendous growth and change. I hope to use my skills to assist others with processing the trauma and the growth we have all experienced as we adjust to a new, post pandemic life.

Lisa Rosario
My name is Ms. Lisa Rosario. I'm glad that you stopped by today. I know it can be difficult to meet with a new therapist and I want to thank you for thinking of taking the steps to start this therapeutic alliance with me. Let me tell start by telling you about myself. I am a New York City, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years’ experience in this field. I love what I do and do what I love, so my extensive experience in this field has given me a career I take pride in. I am a first-generation, New York born and raised Puerto Rican Latinx, who identifies as female. I am fully bilingual (Spanish) and bicultural. I earned my bachelor’s degree at Antioch University in Ohio, and my graduate degree at New York University. I continue to share the knowledge I’ve been blessed with by teaching at Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work where I’ve been an Adjunct Professor for the past 9 years. I am also in the process of starting a doctoral candidacy. Throughout my career I’ve worked in different settings with a variety of individuals, couples, adolescents/families who have a variety of personal issues that I have listed as part of this profile. I have had a wide array of therapeutic intervention situations that include, but are not limited to depression/anxiety, trauma, sexual/physical abuse, relationships, family concerns, addictions of all kinds, life struggles and immigration, to name a few. I realize that starting this experience can be a bit daunting. That said, allow me to give you and idea of how we would start this process if we are to work together. I would begin by asking you a few questions so I can really understand what you’ve been going through, but before that I’d like to explain to you a little about who I am and what I do as a Therapist. You can always feel free to ask any questions you may have about this process and how we will work together to help you feel better. Next, I may ask you to discuss some of the concerns you may have outlined in your initial message that may have brought you into treatment. I will then ask some questions about your history, background, your symptoms and current struggles. After we've discussed these concerns, we can discuss a bit about your relationships, your interests, your strengths, and your goals. Together we can assess your situation and go over some next steps. Some of this will involve discussing a treatment plan that considers what you feel are your most pressing concerns and how they impact your everyday life. Then we can discuss options as to how we can focus on some of these points and what methods can be used to address them. If that sounds like a plan you can work with, we may be a good fit. Feel free to message me through Better Help to determine when would be the best time for you to set up an initial contact time/date. I look forward to meeting you. Be well and take good care.
