Dr. Judy Rosenblum
Welcome to my site on BetterHelp ! I am a Licensed Psychologist in New York with over 30 years of experience. I have a very successful private practice which has included online therapy/ counseling and I am very much looking forward to working with you to make your life a happier and more satisfying one, by giving you strategies to attain what you want in life. I make use of an eclectic approach to therapy and tailor it to meet your needs and specific goals. I have much advanced education and training through several graduate programs that I took after I got my PhD. So I can pull techniques and theory from the different forms of therapy that I have training in and tailor it to meet your needs and specific goals. We will work together on your personal goals, making fun and easy changes to help you to create a better life. I work with individuals as well as with couples. I help with many different concerns such as anxiety, especially “panic attacks”, depression, those grieving a loss, relationship problems, improving communication with others, improving self-confidence so you feel better about yourself, maintaining a Positive Attitude and strengthening your motivation. My counseling style would be heavily based in using Cognitive-Behavioral therapy which would address how you are thinking about situations and help you to view alternative ways that may be more productive for you. With using Positive Psychology, we would approach problems in a general way, and be identifying your strengths in order to work in a positive way to achieve your goals. I would be teaching you mindfulness skills to help with any anxiety you might want to lessen, so you can cope better and focus on identifying goals and how to achieve them. If you are interested I can also teach you techniques through Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, which when added to the counseling can make it even more effective. To find out more about me you can Google me under “Dr Judith Rosenblum + reviews” and find several positive reviews from clients on the internet. I am a kind, compassionate and patient person who can help to guide you to resolve problems that you may have. In working with people, we work together as a team, and I take an active interest in working with you and show you respect, encouragement, optimism, and support. You can also look at my website at https://www.drjudylifechangingtechniques.com. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and very much look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

Donna Ray
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 30 years, working mostly in New York and New Jersey. My specialty practice is working with adults 18yrs and older coping with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and ADHD. Sometimes individuals have had traumatic experiences from early childhood or adulthood that impact coping with daily living. I provide psychotherapy for individuals who have had traumatic experiences that are impacting their relationships, managing emotional moods swings, or misusing drugs and alcohol. At this time I am not working with minors for individual Telehealth Services, however, I can provide parenting skills strategies for parents seeking guidance for the management of behavioral issues impacting the parent / child relationship. My therapeutic approach is solution focused and client centered, with compassion and respect for the client. I believe that each person is the expert of their own experiences and future goals, so I take a collaborative and non-judgmental approach, being open to feedback. Through out my years of experience and training I have developed an eclectic "tool box" of interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Psycho-dynamic psychotherapy treatments. I understand that the first most important step is finding a therapist that instills a sense of confidence, trust, and warm regard. I look forward to talking with you and to answer any questions you may have about my approach to see if we are a good fit. Thank you.

Antoinette Bryce
Antoinette Bryce, Clinical Social Worker/LCSW Licensed in NY and NC Hello there! My name is Antoinette Bryce, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in the mental health and human services field for 13 years. I am a graduate from the Fordham University and currently a lecturer within the Human Behavior field. My passion is “People” and helping them to get to the core of who they are. Starting out as a customer service agent many years ago I have learnt that the “customer is always right.” In keeping this approach, coupling it with a mental health and trauma focused lens, my modality of choice for intervention is from the Humanistic Paradigm- I will meet you where you are at…and then we both work from there. I also include in my practice short-term Solution Focused Intervention and CBT Therapy. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, ADHD, anxiety, work-related concerns including burn-out, parenting problems, religious/spiritual struggles, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, anger management and an extensive background in child welfare. I have also spent all my timeframe as a Human Behavior Specialist working in underserved communities, working closely with underserved clients-specifically members of the black and brown community. Trauma hinders our progress whether the exposure is miniscule, extensive or somewhere in-between. Unless we can identify and understand this impact one cannot start moving towards healing. Let’s start this journey together and explore through appropriate intervention that is designed to meet your needs, a way towards being whole again.

How do I know if online counseling is right for my family in Cold Spring?
One of the potentially rewarding aspects of working with a therapist is the validation and active listening they can provide. Your friends and loved ones may also be available to listen, but you may feel that they may lack the skills to provide objective guidance. Counselors are trained to respond to various concerns, symptoms, and mental health conditions.
Therapists in your city can support you toward a healthier emotional state, regardless of your mental health, life concerns, or healing needs. While supporting individuals in developing healthier habits, another good benefit of Cold Spring therapy is having an understanding, safe space with a non-judgmental party who can support you through challenging experiences.
Many people have sensitive topics that they may feel ashamed to discuss with their friends or partner. A therapist can help you confront these concerns and open up through unique methods of support. There are also many types of therapy, such as art therapy, where you may find you can express yourself through creativity instead of words with a psychotherapist.
With a lot of people in NY, therapists may be booked out with clients. Through the list of profiles above and others within BetterHelp's team, you may be able to find a psychologist within 24 to 48 hours. If you're searching to find a a nearby psychotherapist close to 10516 or the surrounding zip codes, consider others available through the BetterHelp site where you can schedule a session based on your and the therapist's schedule. Should I find a therapist or psychologist for therapy if I feel fine?
Some simply don't feel the need to see a psychologist. However, some people may avoid attending therapy due to stigma or preconceived notions of what it might entail. Although psychologists often support people with mental health conditions, you do not need a diagnosis or specific condition. You can discuss grief, relationship concerns, stress, or life changes and ask for general feedback. A Cold Spring licensed clinical social worker may help you gain power over your life and emotions while you navigate day-to-day experiences.
Gaining a new perspective on yourself through various therapies might allow you to improve your self-esteem, work through relationships, and gain a better sense of your mental health goals. The success you may find with a Cold Spring counselor can be dependent on your process.
People may also attend therapy for specific motives, such as bullying, an autism diagnosis, a desire to learn mindfulness meditation, personality concerns, trouble with office workers, specific phobias, and many other principles that a counselor can help with.

Is mental health care and therapy with a therapist worth it?
Therapy with a licensed counselor is effective and has the power to change individuals' lives. Each client is at a different stage of their emotional healing journey in life, as each human can be unique in their personality, expression, skills, and goals. An experienced clinician can target various symptoms, experiences, and personalities to help you feel your best and put you on the path to healing. Unlike advice from a friend, family, or non-professional, a mental health therapist has an understanding of various disorders like ADHD and depression with many hours of experience in treating adults in their practice. For this reason, seeing an evidence based licensed clinician in Cold Spring, New York can be worth it. Over 41 million adults in the US attend therapy services each year, showing it's a popular option and is proven to be effective.
Cold Spring has many clinicians who practice person or client-centered individual therapy in-person and through online sessions to assist clients in their healing journey. If you opt into online therapy, you might also be able to meet with providers all over the United States and change easily at any time. Many people struggling with anxiety and depression, substance abuse, body image issues, and more find therapists that are a good fit for them, feel supported, and gain further insight into their lives through internet-based therapy.
Do therapists judge you in therapy sessions during telehealth appointments?
The boundaries between you and a therapist are in place to help you and them regarding ethical concerns. Mental health professionals are held by ethical standards through the American Psychological Association (APA) and are not allowed to judge or harm their clients. If you are concerned about sharing details about yourself, feel free to withhold personal information. Their job in the therapeutic relationship is to create a safe place, help you gain a deeper understanding of your mental health, and support you. You might consider changing counselors if you don't feel safe or respected.
