Prior to being a therapist, I worked as a counselor aide and a case manager for persons with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness, and as a motivational coach for people with chronic medical conditions. As a therapist, over the past 8+ years, I’ve helped many clients - struggling with issues like depression, anxiety, stress, family concerns, life changes, and existential crises - rediscover themselves, cope in healthier ways, and implement change in their lives. I work with individuals, couples, families, children, teens, and adults. In collaboration with you, and through exploration, I strive to help you find and understand yourself on a deeper level, to become aware of the areas in your life that may be impacting you, and help you better cope with life’s many challenges, in an open, non-judgmental, safe space. I give great importance to the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client. My approach is a welcoming and supportive one. It is by means of the therapeutic relationship, that both the client and therapist can openly explore and address deeper issues. Ultimately, this is where therapy truly begins.

Elizabeth Raymond
My first month of graduate school I learned that people having mental health difficulties often get better on their own, and that therapy helps speed up that process. Fourteen years later, and I am still honored to be a part of people's efforts to improve their lives. Therapy is a collaboration to address the stressors one faces, be the problems external, such as job or relationship difficulties, or internal, such as thoughts and feelings that serve as barriers to making improvements. I look forward to to learning how I can support you during this process.
