Aryeh Minkin
Hi! I am Aryeh (pronounced AR-yay.) I am a therapist licensed in New York and Texas. I help people understand and cope with a variety of mild, moderate or severe life circumstances and/or emotional, behavioral or cognitive concerns. I specialize in trauma/PTSD and have extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I have also trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), narrative therapy and EFT (Emotionally-Focused Therapy). Additionally, I treat anxiety, stress, grief, low self esteem, personality disorders and building effective boundaries with family/relationships. People have the drive to be emotionally healthy with themselves and their loved ones. Therapy can often help achieve these goals. My counseling style is warm and interactive, I believe it is important to treat anyone with respect and dignity, to empower them and instill confidence in a compassionate manner. No two problems are ever exactly the same, so I make it my personal objective to listen very carefully to each person and in a very open and non-judgmental way. I always do my best to understand what each situation feels like when looking out through their eyes. I believe in being client-centered and supporting client’s where they are at (with a pinch of humor thrown in). It is important for me to include the client in the treatment planning process and help monitoring success. It takes courage and bravery to take that first step towards change, if you are ready to take that first step I am happy to help guide, support and encourage along the way. I look forward to working with you and helping you create a life full of happiness. (Please note: I am currently only available for messaging)

Andrea Martinez
Hi, I am Andrea. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a wide variety of experience. Currently, in addition to providing counseling through Better Help, I work as a Clinical Coordinator within the NYC hospital system. I coordinate treatment amongst a variety of agencies to best support persons with severe mental illness as they reintegrate back into the community. I have also developed a program to support adults with developmental disabilities by connecting them to community treatment providers. During my time as a social worker, I have provided counseling to persons in the criminal justice system in a variety of contexts. I also have experience as an individual and group therapist for persons struggling with substance use disorders in the outpatient setting. I previously served as a counselor and advocate in the hospitals, courts, and on a crisis hotline for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. As an undergraduate at SUNY New Paltz, I studied sociology with a focus on human services. As a graduate student at CUNY Hunter, I received a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families. I am trained in Mental Health First Aid and Crisis Intervention. I completed a course in Social Pedagogy in Denmark, learning to integrate a holistic and relationship-based approach into my counseling techniques. I know that no single approach to counseling is the right one for each person. My counseling style aims to meet my clients where they are at to promote self-advocacy and highlight inner strengths. I utilize methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Dr. Anita Anglade
As a therapist and social activist, I have a passion for supporting other world changers in being able to care for themselves while they do the hard work of making the world a better place. I have spent my career in the trenches of community and social activism. I have a passion for helping others and personally experienced the emotional toll this work can have on your personal life. As a person of faith, my work is grounded in my own spirituality but I also realize this does not safeguard us from compassion fatigue. I can help my clients to navigate the stresses of life to find ways to connect to natural and community based supports. My goal is to help my clients to embrace their sense of call to their vocation, while also learning to balance other parts of their lives with outlets for joy and creativity in order to combat stress, depression and anxiety.

I'm going to be straight with you. When I was graduating from my Master's program in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University, I never DREAMED I would FAIL my first attempt at the licensing exam. ESPECIALLY after JUST PASSING it in order to GRADUATE! I ran so far away to a land that would allow me to practice while I sought supervision and take a different form of the exam that was geared towards those that were more HANDS ON! And guess what? I PASSED! Why do I share this? Because! As a therapist, I know that we all have failed at many points in our lives! I want my clients to know, that I am just as human as they may be. It’s not that I feel you need to know this to change, I need you to know that you are safe here! I am a passionate therapist, shaman, psychic medium, and energy healer that truly believes in assisting my client's in developing FULL BODY healing, through the mind, body, AND spirit! I am a Certified Spiritual Coach and currently working on regaining my Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, along with MANY other certificates. Please let me know if you'd like more information on any of my trainings. With that being said, because I provide a VERY holistic/energy based approach and I do go over our session times. This means that I provide my client's with the MOST authentic guidance I can give. This includes integrative modalities, such as energy healing, sound healing, and vocal frequencies. Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
