Rebecca Cusack
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! My name is Rebecca, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maine, as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the states of New York and Florida. I currently reside in upstate NY and have two amazing little humans. With more than 10 years of experience across various settings, I offer supportive therapy for situations including: LGBTQ+, depression, anxiety, trauma histories, life transitions, and varying mental health disorders. “Anxiety can feel as huge as the big, blue sea, but remember that the sea is made up of smaller waves”. Sometimes life doesn’t make sense, we feel as though we're lost at sea, and our own navigational devices aren’t working. I provide a safe space to break life down into smaller more manageable waves, supporting individuals with redefining their navigational systems. I work with folks who are ready to unapologetically show up for themselves, find inner joy, and let that shit shine bright! I offer space that is warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental. I help you to heal past hurts and traumas; move through life from a place of empowerment, resiliency and courage; along with finding pride in your most genuine- authentic self. “You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore”. Therapy isn’t always easy, but it’s my goal to swim alongside you in order to provide support in navigating your way through the waves into calmer seas. We will work collaboratively to make change and meet your goals. Pronouns: She/They

Suzanne Knapp
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York with over 10 years of experience working as a Social Worker, psychotherapist, Social work supervisor, and life coach. I have worked in several different settings including foster care, a group residence, a domestic violence shelter, schools, an assisted living home, outpatient mental health clinics as well as private practice. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns and personal goals. I enjoy being able to work with people who are desiring to identify their purpose, build their self esteem and confidence, and learn more about themselves throughout the process. My counseling style is eclectic, engaging and interactive. I believe that every person deserves to have someone that they can talk to, gain insight from and connect with that will not interfere with their daily living. Family and friends are great supports and often times will provide what they think we want them to provide and not what we really want or what really need. I like to create personal and professional goals with individuals based on their interests, opinions, and skills not based on other people's opinions of them. I often will use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy with a humanistic and solution focused approach. Everyone benefits from being able to have a coach, a therapist, someone on their side. I would love to be able to work with you and assist you in being the best version of yourself.

This is your therapy and I will strive to give you a positive and rewarding experience. I believe in being genuine and kind to everyone. I also believe that there is no definition of what deems the need for therapy.
