Hi, thanks for stopping by. Please feel welcomed here and say hello. My name is Christina, and I’m glad we connected. I'm a Clinical Social Worker and I'm ready to assist in a helpful and skillful approach. I look forward to hearing what circumstances led you to therapy. I look at the whole person along with any struggle or difficulty life has thrown your way. If you would like empowerment, gain more confidence, and self awareness this approach in therapy is for you. If you need some help figuring out those big dreams or the smallest goals that feel miles away, let’s problem solve and create solutions together. I offer ways on how to get through your struggle, to achieve your victory. The key factor for progress, is our willingness to try, (keep trying) show up and the rest will get there. My intention and purpose in clinical approach is to help you discover your true capacity and capability for growth to obtain your goals. I’ve had the privilege to work with families, disabled children, prevention, substance use, hospice care, corrections, and Veterans. I am continually growing as an individual, as we never stop learning about ourselves and others. I believe success is appreciated by extent of the effort. Everyone has something to teach us. I am seasoned with cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, strengths based, crisis invention and prevention, grounding, relaxation techniques, guided meditation and combine or adapt as people evolve in their therapeutic growth. Warmly, Christina

Christine Jones
Hello! My name is Christine Jones and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 22 years. I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work and Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Albany. I am currently a high school school social worker in New York, and have provided counseling to adults in this role. I worked for many years with middle school aged students and their families, as well. Prior to beginning my work in the public school system 17 years ago, I provided therapy to adolescents and teens working through behavioral and substance abuse challenges. In all of these positions, I worked with their families, as many of the parents and caregivers utilized the counseling I provided. I work to develop a collaborative relationship with my clients. I will spend time learning about you, as well as what has helped you work through difficult times in the past. We all possess different skills, strengths, and strategies we know work best for us, and I will try to empower you to find (or revive!) these strengths within yourself as part of the counseling process. I can also help you identify barriers that may be getting in the way for you, or may be contributing to you feeling "stuck". I can help you move forward in a variety of areas of your life, including in your role as an a spouse, a parent, a friend, an employee, a supervisor, or within any other significant relationship or role you would like to move in a more positive or different direction with. I currently work with individuals who struggle with managing their emotions and responses to situations, as well as people who grapple with anxiety, depression, relationship and communication issues, loneliness, stress management, technology addiction, alcohol and substance abuse, PTSD, trauma/abuse, LGBTQ issues, medical issues, caregiver stress, and ADHD. My warm and conversational approach combines solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Welcome to Better Help and I truly look forward to working with you and learning more about you!

I am a compassionate and experienced psychotherapist.. Psychology Today named me as of their best and Who's Who of Professional Women also selected me to then represent the field of Mental Health. I have great experience with affective difficulties [anxiety and depression] as well as mitigating relationship difficulties, whether personal or professional. Parents find great relief in my explanations and tactics of behavioral problems in their children, which, of course, affect the family unit. Early childhood trauma, a strong indication of current relationship difficulties, is also a specialty . Please contact me if you want a warm, non judgmental listener to help you with your concerns.

I’m so glad you’re here. I believe therapy should be a safe and encouraging space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns without judgment. My approach is exclusively text-based, offering a structured yet flexible way to process emotions, recognize recurring thought patterns, and create meaningful change—all at your own pace. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness with the Patterns & Pathways (PAP) framework, a method designed to help you: ✔ Recognize emotional and behavioral patterns that may be holding you back. ✔ Reframe unhelpful thought loops and develop a healthier mindset. ✔ Strengthen self-awareness and create new pathways aligned with your goals. Why Text-Based Therapy? More Space for Reflection – Writing gives you time to slow down, process your emotions, and gain deeper insight without feeling pressured to respond immediately. Structured Yet Flexible – You can revisit our conversations anytime, helping you track patterns, recognize progress, and reinforce growth. Less Pressure, More Openness – Many people find it easier to express themselves in writing, allowing for deeper self-exploration and clarity. Practical & Actionable – Our sessions will focus on recognizing patterns, reframing unhelpful thoughts, and developing tools you can apply in daily life. I know that therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time—growth can be empowering, even uplifting, and sometimes a little humor helps too! Whether you're navigating anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions, or relationship challenges, I’m here to support you. Let’s work together to create the change you’re looking for—one message at a time.
