My counseling approach is client focused, utilizing skills and interventions that include, but are not limited to, humanistic therapy, strength-based solution focused techniques, cognitive behavioral methods, mindfulness processes, interpersonal neurobiology, and body centered perspectives. My education includes and BA and MA in psychology and a PhD in Counselor Education. I provided leadership in the growth and development of a college counseling center and I have supervised and trained interns for over 20 years.
